Josh Palmer appears in Bethel University's production of "The Curios Savage"

2012 Nov 13

Josh Palmer is the son of Mike and Patrice Palmer from Pine City, MN, and played Jeffrey in the Bethel University performance of "The Curious Savage" this November. Palmer is a sophomore majoring in Theatre Arts.

The Broadway comedy "The Curious Savage" tells the story of Ethel Savage who has been left with a substantial amount of money by her late husband. She is determined to give away millions to help others realize their hopes and dreams. But her stepchildren stand as obstacles in her way, committing her to a sanatorium where she meets various social misfits. The audience is led to wonder just who and what is normal in a world that seems motivated at times only by greed and dishonesty. The play, written by John Patrick in 1950, seems just as relevant in our 21st century where the virtues of kindness and generosity seem neglected by society.
